Well, this is it. I’m very proud to announce the first casting announcement for Studio 7. It’s exciting to know that the show is really coming together, now, and I really can’t wait to make more announcements in the run-up to filming! Of course, my casting is hardly a surprise, I’m producing the bloody show!

244 Productions is very proud to announce the casting of the lead roles for the forthcoming production ‘Studio7’. In the role of Tom Rankin we’re pleased to announce the casting of Will Brooks. Brooks is the writer and producer of the show, and is keen to get filming; ‘I took the part of Tom when we first attempted Studio 7, and it was a shame to have to give it up’.
Taking the part of Luke Evans is Ciaran Fallon. Fallon also appeared in the original incarnation of the show
playing a bratty teenage musician. He said of taking a more prominent role; ‘I had a minor role in the original programme and I’m happy to take on more of a main part this time around. I hope that I can bring something new to the character.’
Both Will and Ciaran have previously worked together not only on Studio 7’s first incarnation, but also on 2006 comedy ‘NERD’. ‘I’ve always worked well with Will Brooks, over the years I’ve worked on many projects with us, and I think we make a good team.’ Ciaran Fallon said.
The two boys, both local to the area will be heading up the two main roles in the show, which will follow the trials and tribulations of trying to update a kids TV show, whilst they try to bring their own show to the screen. The series is scheduled to air exclusively on-line from early April, and filming begins early next month.
To round off the casting announcement, Brooks concluded, ‘There’s a number of exciting announcements to be made over the coming weeks. As the pre-production continues I’m growing steadily more excited by the fantastic growing cast. We hope to announce more names soon, including one or two surprises!’

Like I say, my casting should hardly shock you, but hopefully the casting of Ciaran will be a little unexpected. Hopefully we’ll have some good fun – I’ve always enjoyed working with Ciaran in the past, and if our recent photo shoot to promote the casting is anything to go by, then I think we’ll continue to have a good time!
