Second Blue Peter Presenter Joins Cast of Studio 7

Yes! I’m happy to announce that today we filmed scenes for Studio 7 featuring former Blue Peter legend Peter Purves! Press Release;

Following hot on the heels of the announcement that Sarah Greene would be playing herself in Will Brooks’ ‘Studio 7′, another former Blue Peter presenter has been confirmed as part of the cast.

Peter Purves, who presented the BBC’s flagship children’s show from 1967 until 1978, was announced this evening as making a small appearance in the show.

Writer and Producer Will brooks commented, ‘Peter is one of the icons of Blue Peter, part of the so called ‘dream-team’ of the show in the 1970s. It’s fantastic to have worked with him, and it’s great that he’s a part of Studio 7′.

The short scene is set to be part of the six episode series, which officially continues production next month, and is currently scheduled for release online from late July.
